EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Business Management from the University of California, Irvine. Juris Doctorate with an Emphasis in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution from the Dale E. Fowler School of Law at Chapman University. There he served as inaugural President of the Immigration Law Society. He also participated of Family Violence Clinics where he assisted victims of domestic violence acquire immigration relief through VAWA and U-Visa.
EXPERIENCE
Jonathon has dedicated his entire professional career to the practice of immigration law. Jonathon first discovered his aptitude for immigration law and policy while working with the Senate Judiciary Committee for California Senator Dianne Feinstein.
While attending law school, Jonathon served in the Office of the Chief Counsel, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Los Angeles. He then worked for the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, Enforcement & Removal Operations Legal Division, ICE, in Washington D.C. Jonathon valued his experience allowed him to understand both sides of the immigration policy debate.
After graduating, Jonathon continued to expand his immigration law knowledge by working for various immigration law firms in the Los Angeles area. With nearly 10 years of experience, Jonathon joins the expert team of Los Angeles Immigration Attorneys.
Jonathon is an active member in good standing of the California State Bar and admitted to practice law before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
